Logo Design
Not all individuals and small businesses need a logo, so by default we do not include logo design in our web packages in order to keep the cost to our customers low.
For all our web packages we are happy for our customers to send us their existing company logo to use on their websites. Alternatively we can create a simple text based
header in your chosen colour scheme at no extra cost.

Web Hosting
Web hosting is the server where your website is stored on - all websites need a home.
All our packages come with 3 months of FREE web hosting with our chosen web hosting partner.
All of our web hosting packages are LINUX based meaning that we can run our PHP based websites. All three packages come with an online control panel to allow you to update your content,
add email addresses to your account, and access your web mail.
There are two main differences between our three different hosting packages. The first is the amount of web space available to you.
Your website pages, images and other media all take up space. The second difference is the amount of available bandwidth. Whenever someone visits your page, bandwidth is taken up when your
website and it's content is sent to the user to view.
After the 3 months FREE web hosting you will be billed according to the corresponding plan that can be found on our web hosting page.

Website Statistics
Website statistics allow you to find out a vast amount of information about your visitors.
From tracking the number of visitors and potential customers to analysing what keywords your visitors used to find your site, website statistics is a valuable tool in assessing your marketing strategy.
All of our web design packages include Google Analytics to allow you to track your user's habits and behaviour once on your website.

CMS System
A CMS system makes it easy for non technical people to keep their website content updated. Through a web based interface our customers can make basic changes to existing
text and images on their site.
The most popular CMS system is Wordpress. For customers who wish to maintain their own sites, we offer you a choice of either Wordpress or another well regarded CMS, CushyCMS.
Customers who have experience of website development, or those that wish to take out one of our maintenence packages have the additional choice of hand coded PHP, a popular web scripting language
which can be edited by hand in a text editor

Domain Name Registration
A domain name is the web address your users will type in to see your website.
With the Storm and Cyclone web packages, we will register your chosen .com, .co.uk, or .org.uk address free of charge to you (registered in our name but for your use) - subject to your chosen domain being available. You
will only be charged a renewal fee when the domain name is up for renewal (typically domain registration needs renewing every two years).
Customers interested in our 'Wind' package can bolt on this option for just £19.99 for two year's registration.
You can at any time request ownership of the domain name to be transferred to your name (e.g. if you wish to move to a new web host or decide to work with another web design company). The fee for
this will be £20.
